The valleys north of the Peace River block.

Summary: The Prespatou, Altona and Rosefield districts of the Peace River North region of British Columbia boast an area of 150 square miles situated between Umbach Creek on the west and Beatton River on the north and east. The Buick Creek region is to the south and west, and is approximately fifty miles north of Fort St. John. This history of the areas covers significant events and institutions, and pioneer family histories, and spans from 1929 to the 1990's.
